Valerie brings a keen interest in the intersection of privacy, law, and technology to her practice. She leverages the latest developments in technology trends and privacy regulations to anticipate legal challenges businesses operating in today’s data-driven economy may encounter. She offers clients practical and proactive strategies to mitigate business and legal risks and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
Valerie began law school informed by two years of experience as a paralegal and focused her legal education on IP, technology, and privacy. During a year-long, in-house internship, she gained substantial experience in commercial and technology transactions and gleaned invaluable client-perspective insights into diverse legal issues.
Valerie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), and as an active member of IAPP, she continues to build her knowledge of privacy laws and regulations.
Clients. An integral part of Summit's Tech Transaction team, Valerie works with various-sized clients across a spectrum of sectors, such as financial and education tech.
