LERA's Collective Bargaining & Arbitration Conference
Four of Summit's partners will be presenting at LERA's 39th Annual Collective Bargaining & Arbitration Conference taking place on March 10-11, 2016 at the Washington State Convention Center. Dan Swedlow will be presenting "Interest Arbitration: Post-Recession Trends," which will explore the recent trends caused by the 2008 recession and offer practical advice in light of the recovering economy; Sofia Mabee will be co-presenting "Consult a Labor Lawyer," which will address questions submitted by conference attendees on emerging trends in the labor and employment law arena; and Mike Bolasina and Peter Altman will present the workshop "Navigating Labor Relations: The Human Resources Perspective," which will provide guidance on how to work effectively with legal counsel to prepare for negotiations, defend grievances, and litigate unfair labor practice complaints.
